a+k design started as a "would it not be great" someday idea between Ava and Kimberly when they met as students at the University of Texas at Austin, Interior Design program. After graduation, they both went down different paths, but always stayed in touch. Ava moved back to Austin and it was then, that they decided it was time to start the firm. It's their belief that their collaboration is what helps make the design ideas form, flow and function as a whole.
